ISO27001-AI-Extension

ISO 27001 provides the basis for the certification of a company’s own information security management system (ISMS). Currently, the topic of artificial intelligence is not specifically addressed in this standard – the ISO 27001 AI perspective extension service enables additional consideration of the topic of artificial intelligence.

In a constantly growing cyber security threat situation, it is essential to deal with the new threats and take steps to continue to be prepared for them in the future.

In an internal audit, the controls of ISO 27001 are expanded with regard to an AI perspective in order to enable controlled use and minimise security risks in the early stages of implementing AI technologies in the company. Furthermore, current attack scenarios are evaluated and assessed with regard to the ISMS quality to improve defence capabilities in a threat situation.
